Hello, my friends welcome back to The Mindfully Recharged podcast, with your host, Mariana Thomas. Today, I am going to do a grounding practice meditation with the moon. So as a grounding meditation with the moon and the reason why is because this month we had an eclipse the lunar, as I call it, I know it's a lunar eclipse, but it's eclipse the lunar for me and I wanted to record this and this episode. So without further ado, let's get to it.

Welcome, my friends. Welcome back to The Mindfully Recharged podcast with your host, Mariana Thomas. Today, I want to record a grounding practice with the Moon Meditation. The reason why this month we had an eclipse the lunar.  Yes, you probably are thinking, "No, it's the opposite, the lunar eclipse.", but for me, it's an eclipse the lunar, and I wanted to record this practice.

So you can do this either outside or inside. Just wherever you are just find a place where you can either be on the moon, which we always are, but you can see it or you can visualize it. I want you to find that location anywhere in your house, outside or inside. Also, you can keep your eyes open or you can close your eyes. It's up to you. Find your breath and allow all the worries and thoughts that you have right now or you had throughout the day to float away from you on the night breeze. So think about the breeze if you can feel it at the moment and allow the breeze to just flow your thoughts and worries away.

Feel every thought, the angry or upset you as of now and go ahead and roll them up. Roll them up into a ball and roll it away, away from you as easily as you can.

Now, stay or sit in this place and look around, and for some of you whose eyes are closed, just visualize looking around and find the moon in your sky and begin to pay attention to it. Either you're visualizing or you are outside looking at the moon. Pay attention.

Note the difference between the moon that you see right now and the one you expected to see and ask yourself, "Is this one fuller or perhaps brighter or half?". Notice these differences and accept the feelings, accept them for what they are right now. Accept the differences.

Now acknowledge that the only time you are alive is right now. The only time you are alive is now. Not the one you imagine. Not the one that will be. You are alive now and this is the moon that exists in your time. This is your moon.

Whatever you wish in the past, whatever might come in the future, tomorrow's moon will be different, as different as yesterday, and the only time you are alive is now. 

Mariana Thomas  7:30  
Whatever you wish for is in the past. Whatever that may come is in the future. Tomorrow's moon will be different, as different as it was and the only time you are alive is right now.

Take another breath and allow yourself to connect back to your breath into the space where you are right now. Maybe look around find your space, find yourself center notice your hands, your feet, the crown of the head, and notice your breath and then slowly bring yourself back.
