Welcome back, guys. This is Mariana. One more time, your host at the Mindfully Rechargd podcast. Welcome, welcome, welcome. Let's get to part two of the 10 daily habits to improve your life. So today, I'm going to give you the last five. I hope that you are already practicing your first daily habits.

Okay, number six. Feeling your thoughts. Okay. So here filling out your thoughts with positivity. Okay, fill yourself with positive things. It's gonna help you to keep negativity out of your life, really. Positive things are what we all need. So what did I mean by that? The things that you tell yourself, the things that you listen to, the people that you surround yourself with. Okay, so three things there. So fill up your mind with positivity. So your thought, the things that you listen to, the people that you surround with, the things that you read even, okay?

So, positivity versus negativity. When we find those people, they are, I don't know, negative nancies, it's okay to go away from that. Because you are protecting yourself. You have to take care of yourself first, okay? If you want to improve your life, you got to practice healthy habits. And one of those is to stay positive. And sometimes it's hard to do it on your own. So you have to surround yourself with positive people, not negative nancies. You don't need those, okay?

Number seven. Oh, I love this one is stop comparing yourself to others. Indulge yourself in a new hobby, if that's what you need to do, versus comparing yourself to someone else. And I have to say we are all guilty of looking at someone else on social media and thinking about how much better their life is. Oh my god, and they look happier. Whatever that is, they're skinnier than us, or they just seem happy overall. These thoughts only are gonna leave you feeling jealous. And that's not a good feeling. It's gonna lower your self-esteem if you let them. Okay, if you're gonna let them get the best of you, pretty often, if you are in social media, comparing yourself. So, instead of this, try to indulge yourself in a new whole way. And you know, something like, I don't know, play a new instrument. Maybe take some painting lessons, read more, take some class classes with friends. Anything, anything, my friends, that can take you from comparing yourself to others because you are unique. You are the only one in this world. Yes. No one compares to you. You're special. You're amazing. You don't need to compare yourself. Okay? So let's make sure that we stay in touch with this one because it's going to help us to clear our mind and to give rather their mental clutter. It builds over time. In addition to that, it can also be a great way to organize our thoughts, you know, before making any big decisions for your future.

Okay, number eight is speaking of organized, get organized. Take daily tasks with enthusiasm, okay? So when we are disorganized, you may feel chaotic, you know, you take things like you are busy and unfocused, and you don't have any guidance. So you're not going to have, anything done, you're not going to get anything done, because you're too busy, about being busy. So what we do here is try to tackle, you know, the households, maybe you're doing something at home, what is the plan for that, you know? So start planning out each day, and schedule yourself in advance. That's why there are planners out there, that's why there are calendars. Even if we, you may have to adjust some things here than there because every day is different. You know, each morning, make sure that you do something for yourself to get organized. Maybe you remind yourself like, "Okay, 123 of the things that I need to do today, which one I'm going to do first?" And here I like to start with bigger things. Because I feel like I start getting a little lighter when I tackle the biggest things that I need to do on my day, okay? If I need to make a big phone call, or I need to create something within my courses, I need to create content, whatever that is. And depending on the amount, that's what I'm going to do first versus doing things that are lighter, and then I'm going to think "Oh my god still got to get that huge thing done." Which by the way, I do have some of those things right now on my list, and I need to get them down and over. So my mind is not cluttered. Thinking that I got to get to that, you know, I need to get to that. And I just going to feel like I'm not organized. Because I haven't done it.

Okay, so number nine. Oh, I love this one because as I told you guys a long time ago, I was a workaholic. At my corporate job and I totally forgot to spend time with friends and families for a long time. Number nine is your reminder to spend more time with family and friends. Improve your relationships. Most people will agree that spending quality time with loved ones is one of the most important aspects of life. It truly is, you know, and I think it will bond, you know, over again or attending a social event together like weddings and parties and birthdays. You know just whatever you do, just make sure you spend some extra time catching up with your family and your friends. Especially if you haven't seen it in a while. Okay, even if it means canceling plans with other people. But you need to have those closest relationships in your life a little bit closer you know and get a little more excited about spending time with them. I think this simple act can help strengthen existing relationships will also making you feel good about yourself. You have to agree that when we spend time with our loved ones, that feeling of I don't know if it's the feeling of complete, but it's a feeling of fullness and fulfill me you know so made time for family and friends, that's number nine.

And my favorite, which I wake up to this, and I go to bed to this, is practice gratitude. Gratitude. You know, I woke up this morning, and I was in the dark, it's pretty early. And the first thing that I do is to be grateful that I open my eyes to be grateful that I can breathe, be grateful that I'm alive, grateful that I'm ready for whatever the day is going to bring, and grateful for the things that are not even here yet. But I desire those things, you know, sometimes I say I am grateful for. And it may be it's something that I don't have yet. But guess what, I'm already grateful for it. So practice gratitude. And you don't have to practice the way I just told you that I practice. Find you your own way. find your own way of practicing, right. But whatever that way is. Practice. Because gratitude is so incredible is the way to go as attitude. And I swear by. So that is number 10.

So let's go back to number six, filling your mind with positivity. Number seven, stop comparing yourself to others. Number eight, get organized. Yeah, yes. Number nine, spend more time with friends and family. Number 10. practice gratitude. My friends, doing this regularly is one of the best ways to improve your life in general. And try to incorporate them into your daily routine. Even if you can only do a few of them at first. Remember that everything will take time, but it will be worth it in the end. Okay, I promise you, just even if you start incorporating 123 first, you know, and you can go 123 and then the last four, and you will be done. And do you feel like it was worth doing it was worth incorporating these practices into your daily routine, and your daily life, to improve the quality of life, to be happier, to improve our lives? Because that's what we need to be working on every single day is to be better than what we were yesterday. And I hope that this was valuable to you.
