Hey, guys welcome back. Today, I want to bring the spirit of Christmas. I was actually going to release a different episode, but I changed my mind because of something that just happened to me this past week. And, especially during this time and during this year, we’ve gone through so much, and a lot of people had a really hard time, and others had a good year, like me, I can't complain. It has been a good year. But also. I have seen people going through a lot, I have seen people suffer, I have seen people lose their jobs, and losing their light, and I don't want to make this episode a sad episode. But I want to remind everyone about kindness and compassion. And also to remember those people in our life. They are necessary… our family members like in my case - I used to live in North Carolina, and I have these two amazing families that we're, I mean, I don't have words to say how special they were to me. And for some reason, I did not get in touch with them for more than a year and this past year. I have always called, I have always sent messages. But for some reason for more than a year it is, you know, life gets in the way and you just forget about people, or about important things that you should do and this is one of them. You know, I hear are a lot of people say “Forget about your past and just live in the present moment” which is you guys know it that's why I practice you know, being in the present moment, and being intentional, and being mindful. One of the things about being mindful is about not forgetting those who were special to us, who are special to us.

So this past week I had an interesting dream, and I'm all about my dreams. When we get to morning routines and all that I'm gonna explain more about dreams. But I do remember my dreams every morning. And the other day I had this vivid dream about my friends, I think I was then in the dream. But once I got up in the morning and I was trying to connect the dots, and I thought “oh yeah this totally has to do with them”. And I thought to myself, I haven’t called them in more than a year so I need to do this. So I get up that morning with the decision to get in touch with them and so I did. I actually sent the text message and did not hear back. I made a phone call and it said that the phone was disconnected so obviously I called the other number and I was determined to get in touch with them. I actually started getting worried, because one of the families was not answering. I finally got in touch with them, and the news was not what I expected. The news was not 100 percent positive. They’re still alive but one of them was not, and that was pretty hard on me because I wasn't expecting that. And then the other one was in a difficult situation. And these people are you know economically well it's nothing to do with that but it has to do with health. And you know health is my first value, first of all. And so I was thinking to myself how in the world I went more than a year without calling them. So I started kinda, beating myself up for that. And then I reflected on it, and talk to myself about it - because you should be talking to yourself. Good things right? And decided to do this episode about that. And the point is, guys, is that we should not end the year without calling those people in our life that have been very special to us, they are special to us, that we haven't been in touch for so long. Because we don't know what happened to them during this time. Especially for my friends. The last time I saw them, they were in their sixties. I'm talking about seniors okay, this is the type of friends that I adore. And now they are in their eighties. So one of the families actually, I used to tell myself that I was their daughter because they don't have children. And so it was very hard for me to hear the news and I'm not going to share with you guys because it's very personal to them.

But I want to say in this episode is that:

Do not end the year without calling people that you haven’t talked to in a while.

Maybe if you have, just call people names ask them, “How are you? How is it going? What can I do for you? How can I be there more?” And it’s not that you have to go there physically. But you can make a phone call. And that’s what I’m going to do for my friends. They actually want me to get in touch with them, they wanted to hear from me. Because that's what they need right now. So not everyone needs Christmas presents, which I love. But that’s not the meaning of kindness and compassion. It's not only the spirit of the gift. The gift has changed and all that. That’s all fabulous and great…who doesn't want a nice gift? That's not what I’m saying. What I’m saying is that use these last days of the year to only reflect on your life and plan for 2021, but also remember those people in your life that you haven’t got in touch with in a long time. Because this just happened to me… I forgot about my friends. And I'm telling you they were so special to me. They were people that I work with, you know they were clients of mine. They became family. Because of the amazing relationship, they became family. And so now I’m going to be more present from now on. And not forgetting my past completely, because if I forget my past completely 100 percent, I'm also forgetting people that may need a little bit of love, and compassion, and caring from us. So that’s what I’m asking you to consider. Think about that. Make it a little bit of difference before the year ends.

I hope that we all have an amazing Christmas and amazing New Year’s. We all need this next year to be amazing. I think that in a way you know we all had gone through the same thing, and you know people say we are all in the same boat. I don't think that's true… I think is that we have gone through the same instances but then the experiences are different. With everybody, experiences are different. So my experience is different from yours and different than my neighbor, and so on. The point is we all need each other. We are all connected in this world. So don’t forget your past completely. It is okay to live in the present moment, that's what I preach. But don't forget your pass completely, because in the past there are people, even places that have been so good to us. They are great memories, they are great events that we have to remember, that we have to get in touch with. So we can continue in that wonderful relationship, and we can add value to each other. And that is it guys, that’s all I wanted to say. So I hope that you have a fantastic Christmas with your family, maybe with your friends from the distance. Take care and get in touch with those from the past and from the present.

So have a fantastic day, thank you for listening. Bye guys!
