Why You Should Follow Your Intuition For Better Success
Show Notes Transcript

We are often told to just trust our guts whether it is for a career path, relationships, or even the little decisions we have to make in our everyday lives. People also often tell themselves, "My gut is telling me that something is wrong.", and it is always right.  It’s because our intuition is hardly ever wrong.

Why is it so important to trust and follow our intuition? Intuition is a key to success. The more you have faith in it and the more you follow it, the more it results in great things. When we trust our intuition, we don’t have to think over and over again about something that we have to do. This makes problem-solving and decision-making even faster. When we follow our intuition, the more successful we become.

In this episode, I discuss the meaning of intuition and give you 5 reasons why you should follow your intuition for better success in your life. I also share some experiences that made me realize that I am highly intuitive and how I use my intuition to attract great things.

Go with your gut and learn in this episode!

Mariana Thomas  00:44

Okay, welcome, everyone. Today is going to be a short episode. I have a little bit of a raspy voice, but that is not going to stop me from recording this awesome episode about intuition. Yes. Today, we are talking about why you should follow your intuition for better success.

Mariana Thomas  01:13

You know, intuition is something that I have been following since I was a little girl. I think I had intuition. I don't know, since the age of, say, 8, 9, 10. It really kicked in when I was 13, and that was before my mom passed away. I had this intuition that something was going to happen with her. I actually had a dream. A dream that she had passed away and it felt so... I will say it felt so alive. It felt so true that it was very scary. It felt like it was happening at that exact moment. Since then my intuition has put me in directions where I have been attracted, I will say with my intuition, great things, and I also I don't think it attracts, but also know things before they even happen, and I don't know if it is intuition, but is above intuition. I may be beyond that, but one thing I can say is that my intuition is always right, and if you do follow your intuition because all of us are intuitive, that’s something that I know for sure, you just need to tap into it.

Mariana Thomas  03:02

Okay, you need to tap into your intuition because we all have it and when you develop that muscle because I believe it's a muscle it's going to become stronger and stronger and it's going to help you even better when you are.. sorry guys but I had a little raspy voice had a rough night last night with some hard news that I will talk about later. Yes, if you follow your intuition and you constantly turn into awareness and intentionality and you turn into yourself I would say really be in touch with yourself. You will be amazed at what your intuition can tell you and how your intuition can guide you. Okay, it has done wonders for me.

Mariana Thomas  04:02

Your intuition is the inner guidance system. You know, you probably are asking yourself, “What is it? What is intuition?” So, it is the guidance that comes from the inner part of you. Okay, and it’s a system and it is that little voice inside of you that tells you what feels right and what doesn't, and it's never wrong.

Mariana Thomas  04:40

You know, I would say sometimes you may be like, you know maybe 2% wrong but most of the time it’s 100% correct. If you truly tune in to yourself, if you truly turn into yourself, if you are following your intuition, and if you do follow it in something that you have to decide, you are likely making decisions based on fear and I will say if you are not following, you're following, apologize about that, you made decisions based on fear or outside influences, and what that means is, you know, when you start asking people, “Hey, what do you think of this?” or  “What do you think of that?”, you look for validation all the time. There's nothing wrong to ask your mentor, your coach, you know, if you are working with someone, that's a completely different story, but if it's something really personal, that needs to come from you, and you feel that little voice inside, you have to listen. You just have to. You can't ignore it because most of the time when I have ignored my intuition, I had regretted it. You know, I had some regrets.

Mariana Thomas  06:16

When I hear something, and I feel something on the inside and it’s telling me to take action on something or not, and I go in a different direction, because just you know, you just want to be stubborn, and then you tell yourself, “I should have followed my intuition.”. So that's why it's so important to listen to that little inner voice inside of you.

Mariana Thomas  06:52

When you follow your intuition, you are tapping into your inner wisdom. Yes, and that is really important. This can lead you to better decisions, radiate happiness.. and who doesn't want to be happy? More success in your life. Once again, a little raspy today, you guys, but you know, when I have followed my intuition, and pretty much I always do, it always leads me to great things. You know, like, for example, the awesome mentor that I have right now, I follow my intuition on that one, and I am absolutely delighted that I'm working with this particular person that hopefully, I can bring to the podcast sooner or later.

Mariana Thomas  07:49

Okay, so here are just a few reasons why you should follow or start following your intuition today. Yes, I say today. You are not going to wait tomorrow, or a month from now, or three months from now, I want you to tap into your intuition today. So remember that this is a short episode. So I want you to pay attention.

Mariana Thomas  08:20

This is number one. Intuition is always right. Remember, I say that? Your intuition doesn't make mistakes because it comes from the inside. It’s the inner voice. They know more than what you think you do. It is always in line with what is best for you. Even if you don't understand that at that time. You know, sometimes you had that feeling and you don't know

Mariana Thomas  08:55

So let me tell you something. I was putting something together, because I'm doing some homework with my mentor, and I saw a picture there was going to be a part of what I'm putting together for my vision board. Let's say that, and I don’t know why, but I was very attracted to this particular picture for some reason, right? And I told myself, “I don't really know where this picture belongs, but I know that I need to have it and I need to keep it.”. So I downloaded a picture. It's a free one of those free pictures that you can download from the internet. Right? You can use it you can do whatever you want with them, and I downloaded a picture and I told myself, “I don't know where this picture goes, but I know that I'm going to know later.”, and that was just an intuition that I had, and guess what guys? A few days later, I realized that that picture needed to go, and one of the little voices when I am creating my vision board for the year, that it’s going to be amazing, and that's it. That was following my intuition. Okay. So make sure that you do that even if you don't understand it at that moment, you will understand eventually.

Mariana Thomas  10:33

Number two of the reasons why you should follow your intuition is that your intuition is a source of guidance. So sometimes we don't know if we should turn right or we should turn left. It was your intuition. It's your guide. It's like having a GPS that you just kinda' click and it's telling you where to go. Your intuition guides you. So when you are feeling lost or uncertain, you don't know where to turn like I just told you, your intuition can be a guiding light that helps you to find your way. Yes, it will turn the lights for you, so you can keep driving, and what a beautiful thing that is?

Mariana Thomas  11:30

Let's go to number three of the reasons why you should follow your intuition. I love this word because your intuition is very empowering. That is number three, intuition is empowering. Following your intuition gives you a sense of power. Listen to that. Following your intuition gives you a sense of power and control over your life. Who doesn't want that? Right? It allows you to trust yourself and make decisions based on what you feel is right for you. Okay, and when it feels right for you, and when you made those decisions, based on your intuition, and you’re 100%  sure, I tell you that feeling is amazing. Amazing!

Mariana Thomas  12:38

Okay, so let's go to number four. I love this one because I love anything growth. Okay, so intuition is going to lead you to growth. Yes, you're going to grow as you follow your intuition. Unknowing your intuition can lead you to stagnation and unhappiness, and I told you that sometimes when you don't listen, right, then you, here comes that sign, then go, “Oh, that is what my intuition was trying to tell me.”, and then you go, “I shouldn't listen.”, and then you get sad because you didn’t and you regret, and that is going to make you unhappy, but when you follow your intuition, you are constantly moving forward, growing, evolving as a person. Okay? And that's what we want. We want to evolve. We don't want to pivot, we want to evolve as a person, it means that you are growing, that you are moving forward.

Mariana Thomas  13:58

Here is the last one. The last reason why you should follow your intuition. Intuition is a connection to the divine, and this is the most beautiful one because I'm all about the divine. Intuition is often seen as a bridge, listen to this, between the physical world and the spiritual realm. Oh, how beautiful is that? Yes, because you cannot really explain it right? You can't really explain when you get that little inner voice. Like what is that? And when you actually hear it really loud like I did the other day. It's a beautiful thing and you don't know where it’s coming from, but yeah, it's coming from your inner voice because you're turning to yourself. It is a way to connect with your higher self and access that guidance from beyond.

Mariana Thomas  15:07

So when you start following your intuition, you will notice a big change in your quality of life. So don't wait any longer. Don't wait any longer, my friends, begin listening to your inner voice today. Today, not tomorrow, not in a week, or two weeks or a month. Today.

Mariana Thomas  15:34

Okay, so let's recap the five reasons why you should follow your intuition. Number one, intuition is always right. Number two, intuition is a source of guidance. Number three, intuition is empowering. Number four, intuition leads to growth, and number five, intuition is a connection to the divine. Yes, and it kind of bridges that gap between the physical world and the spiritual realm. That is amazing.

Mariana Thomas  16:19
